Jude-Milla Relationship (Spoilers!) - Tales of Xillia 2 Message Board for PlayStation 3 - GameFAQs
I hated Xillia 2 and Graces but liked Xillia 1 and Symphonia on PS3(haven't played It answers you all your questions in this blog: they forcibly shipped Jude and Milla despite that clearly not being how their relationship. For Tales of Xillia on the PlayStation 3, a GameFAQs message board topic titled as I'm only a few hours in and so far it's just Jude having one-sided interest in Milla. Why ask questions we can't answer without spoiling? Xillia 2? What happens there? Relationship wise, assuming you've played it. For Tales of Xillia 2 on the PlayStation 3, a GameFAQs message board topic titled "Jude-Milla Relationship (Spoilers!)" - Page 5.
You want to keep badmouthing a pairing so everyone start to see things your way even though most doesn't care about your opinion? Sorry, I had to. I don't even like JudexMilla because they are annoying but at least I'm not complaining about it over and over again. It was in his Character Episodes.
And given how you have to finish those, especially if you want to unlock the 'Besties' Trophy, it's annoying. His Episodes was about his spyrite technology, not about his doomed relationship or feelings for Milla. I don't care about them having any 'romantic' moments, I came here to see Jude thinking how he would come up with a breakthrough for spyrite technology. And that breakthrough being 'asking for help' I have to remind myself, he's only 16 years old, he's a moron simply because of that I never put other people's pairings down.
If there is someone who actually ships the pairing, fine. If that's what they ship, that's what they ship - I will not tell them, "You're stupid for shipping them" or anything like that.
I mention how that's fine, but not for me. I can see your point and definitely works for XIII. Now, given LR and the scenes in that game The English version turned it down a lot. I just hope the story is focused on the new lead and at least somehow progression on those 2 characters. Spoilers are fine with me. He is the main part of the cast and has a lot of scene time.
Milla isn't the main heroine, But still play an important roles. She still play the same but more movelist. Don't worry, they really focus on newer cast. So much that you even want some old cast to have more scene time lol So in other word, Jude and Milla And Rowen While Alvin, Elise and Leia are pretty much 'there' for the most part. That's what Xillia and Xillia 2, respectively felt like to me. Xillia has no proper romance in it, Milla and Jude have no chemistry together, I do not believe any romance there, nor that anything would come from it.
Xillia 2, in turn, suddenly upped the shipping moments in Jude's Episodes and they were so overblown, it felt very, very awkward to watch - I felt like I was watching a very common scene from a very bad harem anime. It once again did not make me believe there was actual romance there. Too awkward, too forced and is ultimately doomed, anyway. I have nothing against doomed romances, but in Jude-Milla's case, it's not heartwrenching or even made much of.
Jude and Milla's Relationship? - Tales of Xillia Message Board for PlayStation 3 - GameFAQs
They know Milla has to return to the spirit world and, while it's nice that they accept it, it almost feels like they don't care. Oh, here only for a specific amount of time? Considering how Milla even mentions that her creating a physical form takes a ton of mana, I highly doubt she could keep doing this. In fact, given that she's a spirit, I was thinking that maybe they would put some mention about how she'll outlive Jude and how she might deal with that.
Look at Harvest Moon Animal Parade. One of the bachelors is the Harvest God and he's initially against dating the female character, cause he knows that he'll outlive her and doesn't know if he would be okay with that, grieving for her after her death.
But he has scenes where he mentions that, when she dies, he'll love the nature she loved and similar. As said above, neither of them seems to give a crap that Milla will ultimately have to leave.
Honestly, Namco needs to learn how to write better romances. Out of all the romances in the Tales games I've played, not a single one was there, that I believed. Well, there was one: Asch and Natalia from Abyss. And we know how that ended, right? Asbel probably didn't even think of these things, but his mother was urging him to get married and Cheria tended to be the girl he thought of.
Nonetheless, that's what 'suddenly' made him self-conscious about it.
